Skin Care Tips for Fall

Skin_careAutumn is finally here! And with the arrival of cooler temperatures, it is time to transition from your summer skin care routine into one that will work for the fall. Our skin care experts at North Scottsdale Laser & Skin Care Clinic, have compiled this short guide that will provide you with more information on updating your skin care routine to the new season.

Fall Skin Care Tips

Moisture. Although you may not notice it in the dry heat that we experience in Scottsdale, the air in the fall is even dryer than it is during the summer. Since the humidity drops significantly, moisturizing your skin is a must throughout the fall. If you typically have dry skin, you might want to think about ramping up your moisturizer as the season changes. We recommend the TNS Ultimate Daily Moisturizer with SPF 20 for your new fall skin care routine.

Change your cleanser. During the summer, you may have been using an oil-free cleanser in order to avoid a shiny complexion. Now that the air is less humid, however, you may not want to use an oil-free cleanser that could dry out your skin.

Keep wearing sunscreen. Sun protection—no matter the season—is always a priority in Scottsdale. On average, we experience 211 days of pure sunshine each year, so it is important to maintain your sun care routine every day.

Exfoliation. Although exfoliation is a great way to make your skin look radiant throughout the summer, it is equally crucial to your fall skin care routine. Make sure to get a facial to remove summer’s marks on your skin. At North Scottsdale Laser & Skin Care Clinic, we are offering a $99 fall facial that is available with your choice of three different enzymes: pumpkin, ginger, and apple.

Adapting your skin care routine to the fall doesn’t have to be difficult. To learn more information about fall skin care, or to schedule a free consultation at North Scottsdale Laser & Skin Care Clinic, call (480) 513-2888, or book your appointment online.
